Concept Art and illustration of McGlaens

This is a personal work, I created more than 10 years ago with my friend, today I`m returning it and creating with a traditional stages, with watercolor and ink, and in a row you can check a study before to create a final illustration, it is composition and colors.

My idea initial was create a concept of character and his weapon too, Mcgalens is a character inspirated Manowar band, a warrior that fight in the shadow of the world, bringing all the spirit of all the good warriors died. he lived through some eras, Romans, Vikings, etc. he is a bit of our warrior.
